Now this is a power play
Emerson Electric (EMR): $2
ConEd (ED): $2
Vanguard Utilities ETF (VPU): $2
Chevron (CVX): $2
Exxon Mobil (XOM): $2
Sprague Resources (SRLP): $2
SJW Group (SJW): $2
NextEra Energy (NEE): $2
Vanguard US REIT Fund (VNQ): $2.41
McDonald's (MCD): $2
Get it? "Power play"? Because most of these are energy stocks........It's a pun.
SJW is water, and not electric, but it is still a utility, so I figured it was close enough.
Adding a new position (NEE) given my previously stated goal to create more full-share positions in this wing of my portfolio may seem counter-intuitive, but it did fit the theme and it was going to be added to the roster eventually anyway.
I also ended up with some loose change again (a result of the AT&T spinoff from a few weeks back,) so it went to VNQ as that one is annoyingly close to crossing that full share threshold. Still haven't gotten there yet. Next week's buy will carry me over, though, so that will open up a slot for other positions to grow.
